How To Request Your Contribution Statements

Every individual making national insurance contributions should ensure their contributions are being paid.  This can be done by simply filling out the NI183   - Request for Statement of Contributions or through a letter, providing, all relevant information is included in the letter i.e.

  • Name
  • National Insurance Number
  • Name of Employer(s)
  • Period(s) of Employment
  • Postal Address

and submitting it to the service centre nearest to your location.

In addition the NI165 form should be filled out to facilitate the updating of your personal information.

Statements are generated for distribution within one week.  However, should a request for alternative evidence be made by the National Insurance Board, an updated statement is generated within one month.
