Mark Sinsheimer, CFA, CAIA,

Mr. Sinsheimer is a Paris based independent consultant providing advice to asset management firms on international best practices.

He has had board level responsibilities with global asset management companies since 1996. He was Head of Marketing and Sales for Credit Lyonnais Asset Management, Head of Business Development for CDC Ixis Asset Management and Product specialist for Paribas Asset Management.

He holds a Masters in International Relations, a Graduate Degree in law from Paris V University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst as well as a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst.
He is a member of the CFA Institute (previously AIMR) where he served on the Global Advisory Committee, European Advocacy Committee, Candidate Curriculum Committee and Standards and Practice Council.

He is a member of the advisory Council of INSEAD’s “Global Investors Workshop”. He founded the French Society of Investment Professionals and was a member of the Governing Council of the European Asset Management Association where he chaired EAMA’ working group on index construction best practices
